Our story
Baked with intention, served with warmth
Crumbs & Sips was born from a love of French technique and Lebanese hospitality — a place where every pastry tells a story.
How it began
A corner patisserie with a big heart
We opened our doors in Hadchit in 2019 with a simple belief: that great pastry doesn't need to be intimidating. It should be beautiful, yes — but above all, it should feel like a warm welcome.
Our founder Lara trained in Lyon and Paris before returning to Lebanon with a suitcase full of recipes and a dream of a neighbourhood patisserie that felt truly local. Every croissant, every tart, every cup of coffee is made with that same spirit.
Through everything Lebanon has faced, we've kept the ovens on. The patisserie has become a gathering place — for morning regulars, for families celebrating milestones, for anyone who needs a quiet corner and something delicious.
What we stand for
The things we never compromise on
Seasonal ingredients
We source locally wherever possible and let the seasons shape our menu. What's ripe and fresh is always what's best.
Made fresh daily
Nothing sits overnight. Every item on the counter was baked that morning — if it's gone, it's gone.
Craft over shortcuts
Proper lamination takes three days. Real crème pâtissière takes patience. We do it the long way because it tastes better.
Community first
We're a neighbourhood spot. We know our regulars by name, and we think that matters more than anything.
